The topic―"Litigating a Case Against a Pro Se Opponent"―will be discussed by Speakers Glenn Grossman, Esq., Bar Counsel for the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland, and Mary M. Kramer, Esq., Master in Chancery, Domestic Relations Master, Howard County Circuit Court.
This free seminar for attorneys who are members of MAJ will cover the "do’s, don’ts and helpful tips" in wisely and effectively litigating cases with an opposing pro se party (i.e., an individual not represented by an attorney). This seminar discussion will be quite informative and useful to family law attorneys, as the National Center for State Courts has estimated that in the U.S. the percentage of family law cases involving at least one pro se party is over 33.33% in the lower-level trial courts.
