Partners Peter Casciano and Elliott Andalman of the disability benefits department of Andalman & Flynn are both members of the Legal Advisory Group of the Greater  D.C.- Maryland Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (DC-MD Chapter). They have been selected to participate in a project organized by the National MS Society to revise materials the MS Society created to help members with disability insurance claims.

Steve Nissen, Senior Director of Employment and Community Programs at the DC-MD Chapter, heads the project to help both members and their doctors throughout the country better understand and successfully navigate applications and appeals for disability insurance. Disability insurance applications include Long Term Disability (LTD), Short Term Disability (STD) and Disability Income (DI) among other claims. The MS Society has separate materials dealing with Social Security Disability claims.
