Elliott Andalman Supports SSA’s Efforts Make Website More Accessible to Spanish Speakers

Elliott Andalman supports SSA’s efforts to make website more accessible to native Spanish speakers. Elliott was NOSSCR’s representative to an SSA meeting on March 10, 2011. During the March 10, 2011 meeting the Social Security Administration unveiled its plans to make more user-friendly and accessible to native Spanish speakers, including having application forms and instructions on the web in Spanish to be completed in Spanish. While Andalman & Flynn fully supports these efforts, we do so with one caveat: that the electronic/master file is kept in English so that representatives and social security personnel who may only speak English can read the file without the necessity of a translator
