Peter Casciano to Speak at NBI Teleconference on Social Security Disability for Government Employees

We are pleased to announce that attorney at law Peter Casciano has been chosen to speak at an upcoming National Business Institute continuing legal education (CLE) class titled “Social Security Disability and Government Employees”. The class will be held as a teleconference on Dec. 30, 2014 at 1 p.m. and will teach attendees how to protect clients at risk for pension offsets. It will specifically cover:

  • How offsets can effect government pension benefits
  • Potential Government Pension Offset (GPO) exemptions
  • When the windfall elimination provision is a viable option

About Peter Casciano

Andalman & Flynn attorney Peter Casciano has a concentration in disability law, as well as civil and criminal law. He has been named a “Rising Star” of 2014 by Super Lawyers for the State of Maryland and Washington, DC and has been published in the Maryland Association for Justice (MAJ) Trial Reporter Summer 2014 Immigration issue. He is also a member of the MAJ, Maryland Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, and the District of Columbia Bar. Raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, he received his Bachelor of Arts from Villanova University and his law degree from Catholic University.
