In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the “March on Washington” and the 150th Anniversary of The Emancipation Proclamation, Mary Ellen Flynn, who is former President of Montgomery County Bar Association, helped organize a Bar Association event which involved touring the “Changing America” exhibit at the Smithsonian. “Not only was the event inspiring but it gave all of us an opportunity of fellowship and sharing our memories and reflections of where we have succeeded and where we still have work to do to make Martin Luther King’s ‘I have a dream’ speech come true,” Mary Ellen said.
