Elliott Andalman volunteered his time on election day with the Election Protection project sponsored by the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. Along with his wife, Martha Bergmark, and many other lawyers, Elliott and Martha fielded questions from voters around the country who were encountering problems voting. Elliott fielded calls from voters in Michigan, Florida and California. Unfortunately, some voters experienced problems on November 8, 2016, that appeared related to discrimination or voter suppression efforts by officials.
