Elliott Andalman and Peter Casciano presented a seminar on disability benefits as part of the 123rd Annual Meeting and Law Day Celebration of the Montgomery County Bar Association on May 5, 2017. The seminar for lawyers of the bar compared the substantive and procedural requirements for an award of disability benefits in Long Term Disability/ERISA claims, disability retirement/FERS claims for federal and postal workers, disability retirement claims for Maryland State employees and public school teachers and social security disability claims. Following the morning seminars was a lunch program where the new Officers of the Montgomery County Bar Association were installed. Andalman & Flynn sponsored a table for the lunch at which the keynote speaker was the Honorable Jamie Raskin, Congressman representing Maryland’s 8th District.
