Elliott Andalman participated in the Maryland Association for Justice’s (MAJ) Justice Day on February 2, 2016, by lobbying Maryland legislators in Annapolis on behalf of injured and disabled citizens. Issues for this year’s legislative session include, among many others, providing additional protection under Maryland law for people injured by drunk drivers (providing for punitive damages in certain cases), for people injured by underinsured drivers (providing access to the full amount of uninsured motorist coverage purchased) and for people with catastrophic injuries (raising the cap on damage awards in those cases).
