Ben’s Run to Ben-a-fit Children’s National has raised $632,500 to fund ground-breaking research in the treatment of life-threatening childhood illnesses. Ben was 11 years old when he passed away from an infection while battling leukemia. His family, friends, and community keep his spirit alive by raising awareness in a yearly 5K and 5-mile race in April at Stonegate Elementary School in Silver Spring, MD.
