Appointing an Attorney to Represent Disabled Adults and/or Serve as a Guardian
In order for the court to assign an attorney to represent disabled adults and/or serve as a guardian, the attorney must meet certain criteria. In order serve in either role, attorney’s must go through a court training program to become certified. Attorney Kate McDonough of Andalman & Flynn successfully completed her training on June 2, 2015. She received her training at the Montgomery County Circuit Court’s Court-Appointed Counsel in Guardianship program.
